Dear Clients and Friends of Blue Summit,
I’m back from another excellent season in Bristol Bay, Alaska. This year’s run was a surprising 30%+ over forecast for our home of Egegik River, so we lucked out! Once again, the ecosystem proved to be alive and well, with all five major river systems in Bristol Bay reaching their escapement goals to ensure future runs. We had friendly weather with just a few days of pea soup fog or sideways rain. All in all, we were pleasantly surprised with how well our season turned out.

I found the most enjoyment this year from the positive dynamics of our team. Like everyone at Blue Summit, I felt truly fortunate to work alongside such driven and dedicated individuals— that kind of attitude makes all the difference.
For those interested, here is a link on the science of Bristol Bay. This science-based system is the backbone of the fishery’s continued sustainability.
Settling into life back home is always a joy. I look forward to continuing our work with all of you as responsible stewards of your investments and financial planning.
