"I promise to always put our client’s best interests first while delivering long term portfolio management excellence”
Allen began at Blue Summit in 2010 and is our lead Portfolio manager and Partner. He draws on his extensive experience in investment management, real estate, and financial planning to construct investment models and research cutting edge social impact investments.
Prior to becoming Partner at Blue Summit Allen worked at two of the largest corporations in San Diego as a financial analyst and strategy manager. He also has experience in litigation consulting where he worked as a senior consultant. During this period, Allen collaborated closely with senior management and boards of directors analyzing profitability, mergers and acquisitions and corporate financial oversight. Allen traveled extensively for business throughout Europe, Asia, and Australia becoming knowledgeable with how international capital markets operate.
Allen earned his CPA in 2008 and his CFP in 2016. As a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner he is held to a high level of fiduciary responsibility.
Allen is also an investment advisor representative – and as such is not allowed to sell commission products, thus aligning his goals with yours.
Importantly, Allen has a strong interest in sustainable living and following accountable investment practices. He drives an electric car and buys carbon offsets for fossil fuels used during daily living.
