Blue Summit Wealth Management invites you to join us and KLSD AM1360 at Democracy Fest 2006! This special convention at San Diego State University is to unite progressive-minded people and to expand upon attendees' political knowledge.

Friday's events include a live broadcast by Air America host Al Franken, and presentations from grassroots organizations like Democracy For America (DFA), the Commonwealth Institute, and Progressive Democrats of America (PDA). Friday night filmmaker Robert Greenwald presents the film Tom Delay says you shouldn't see; The Big Buy: Tom DeLay's Stolen Congress. Then head on over to the Friday Night Bowling Party for bowling, billiards, arcade games and live music.

Saturday the focus changes to exploring core values through lectures and discussion, with panelists such as Paul Hackett, Col. Ann Wright, Debra Bowen, and David Sirota. Saturday evening, join us for DemStock, a celebration with music and a feast including a barbeque and Mexican fiesta. Saturday night is the big entertainment and speaker event of the weekend! The Saturday Night Blowout Beach Party features Gary Hoey, Gov. Howard Dean, Al Franken, Maxine Waters, David Sirota, and many more.

There are still plenty of things to do on Sunday - Darrell's Famous Bloggers' Breakfast is a must for all bloggers with a brunch buffet and wireless Internet access. The rest of Sunday there are trainings and sessions organized by Latinos For America, San Diego for Democracy, and Root Camp include Campaign Training, Precinct Operations, Internet Organizing, and Organizational Fusing.
